Meet the Team: Joe Calarco

New York: Playwrights Horizons (The Burnt Part Boys, Floyd and Clea Under the Western Sky), Primary Stages (In Transit, Boy), Second Stage (...in the absence of spring...), the Lucille Lortel (The Summer of the Swans, Sarah, Plain & Tall), The Transport Group (Bury the Dead), and Lincoln Center.  Regional: Signature Theater (The Boy Detective Fails, Assassins, Urinetown), The Old Globe (Lincolnesque, The Glass Menagerie), Barrington Stage Company (The Memory Show, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick), the O'Neill Music Theater Conference (Picnic at Hanging Rock), Berkshire Theater Festival, 11th Hour Theatre Company, Philadelphia Theatre Company (The Light in the Piazza).  As a writer his published works include Walter Cronkite is Dead, In the Absence of Spring, and Shakespeare's R&J.  He is a Drama League Directing Fellow and sits on the Executive Board of the directors union SDC.  He is the recipient of the Lucille Lortel Award, the Barrymore Award, and 4 Helen Hayes Awards.
